About the Role:
The Sr Director, Program & Senior Leadership Development plays a pivotal role in shaping the growth and success of the Insmed's current and future senior leaders and cross-functional program team leaders. This role is responsible for designing and delivering a forward-looking, innovative leadership development strategy that enables our culture and leadership philosophy. The role is responsible for building and facilitating high-impact learning experiences and curating development programs that enhance leadership capabilities, business acumen, and core competencies. The Sr Director partners closely stakeholders across the organization to drive succession and readiness strategies, ensuring bench strength for critical leadership roles and building a strong pipeline to meet current and future business needs. This role requires strategic thought leadership and hands-on program development and facilitation in a fast-paced, global environment.
What You'll Do:
- Develop, own, and continuously improve the learning curriculum for global senior leadership
- Design and deliver impactful executive development initiatives, creating experience that enable continuous learning aligned with the 70:20:10 model
- Identify and manage external partnerships to co-create or source development programs and solutions that enhance the senior leadership capabilities at Insmed
- Build and facilitate learning initiatives for current cross-functional program team leadership (i.e. global product teams that are cross-functional and cross-cultural in nature) as well as emerging leaders
- Create & lead a senior leadership mentoring program, driving meaningful mentor/mentee relationships and tracking program outcomes
- Manage relationships with Executive Coaching vendors, assessing coaches and matching to Insmed employees as needed or based on program enrollment
- Design and facilitate onboarding programs tailored for senior leader success and accelerated time-to-impact
- Partner with HRBPs to support robust succession planning approach for business-critical senior leadership roles across the organization, building a multi-year roadmap to ensure bench strength and creating individualized succession readiness plans
- Collaborate with TA team to align recruitment strategies with succession and leadership development needs, addressing capability gaps proactively
- Own development content and experiences delivered as part of the Leadership Summit group
- Benchmark industry-leading executive development, onboarding and succession experiences to ensure a best-in-class senior leadership experience
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or other related field required; Master's degree a plus
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management or related HR disciplines, with at least 3-5 years of focused experience in executive-level development; prior experience in Pharma and/or Biotech required
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing senior leadership and cross-functional program leader development strategies and initiatives that drive measurable impact
- Experience designing, developing and facilitating learning experiences for a global, cross-functional senior leader audience, leveraging multiple synchronous and asynchronous modalities (including instructor-led learning, eLearning, and social learning)
- Experience with succession planning frameworks, leadership assessments, and development planning
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Executive coaching experiences and/or certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of adult learning, coaching, mentoring, and leadership competency models
- Highly collaborative and skilled at cultivating relationships and consulting with global senior leader stakeholders
- Highly impactful facilitation skills and strong executive presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong program management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Flexibility, resilience, and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
- Highly proficient in Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office 365 suite, and other learning/content development tools
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Pay Range:
$207,000.00-289,867.00 Annual
