This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require minimal travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international).

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides support to the Oncology Customer Engagement team in a professional and efficient manner. The role requires the ability to handle several assignments at once, proactively seek solutions within the organization, anticipate the manager's needs, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing complex calendaring, arranging travel, processing expense reports, coordinating video conferences and internal/external meetings, documenting staff meeting minutes with actionable items, and demonstrating the capacity to quickly acquire new technologies.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive materials securely across all management levels in a consistently professional manner.
• Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills are essential for effective interaction with both internal stakeholders and external partners; ability to lead through influence and continuously refine administrative processes is required.
• May draft correspondence and communicate information on behalf of the manager as needed.
• Develop and prepare routine presentations, memorandums, and reports for review and approval; proficiency in working with financial or budget headcount reporting systems to produce tracking reports is necessary.
• Oversee purchasing approvals and authorizations on behalf of the supervisor, exercising designated spending authority in accordance with established guidelines.
Essential Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- 5+ years administrative experience.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated accuracy and speed in the use of standard office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to be resourceful, obtain information from the Intranet, learn new software programs quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (team player).
- Excellent (oral and written) communication skills.
Desirable Requirements:
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree.
- A strong understanding of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Organizational policies and procedures is a plus.
Novartis Compensation Summary:
The salary for this position is expected to range between $63,600.00 and $118,200 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.

In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
